PlayStation Announces Exciting New Features and Collaborations for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
During the latest PlayStation State of Play, exciting news was revealed for the upcoming update of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The new features and collaborations are set to release on March 7th, 2024.
New Suits and Features
Although PlayStation initially announced that the March update would include “New Game+, new suits, and more,” specific details were kept under wraps until now. The latest reveal confirmed that several of Peter’s symbiote story suits will have new suit styles.
Both Peter Parker (Spider-Man) and Miles Morales (Spidey) will receive fresh Hellfire Gala suits, adding to their collection.
Collaboration with Gameheads: A Charitable Initiative
In addition to the new suits, PlayStation announced two new outfits created in collaboration with Gameheads, Insomniac Games, and Marvel Games. Gameheads is an educational program aimed at supporting low-income and underrepresented students.
Between March 7th, 2024, and April 5th, 2024, PlayStation will donate up to $1 million from purchases of the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack to Gameheads.
What’s Included in the Suit Pack?
The Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack will not only contribute to a good cause but also offer additional content, including 10 photo mode stickers and 2 photo mode frames.
Improved Accessibility
Accessibility improvements were also confirmed for the March update, with Audio Descriptions and a Screen Reader feature being added to enhance user experience.
New Game+ and Rumors of Expansions
The addition of New Game+, which allows players to start a new game with all their progress from the previous playthrough, is sure to entice fans who have completed the main campaign since its initial release in October 2023.
Rumors about potential expansions for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 have also been circulating, following the Insomniac Games leak last month.
Stylish and Inspired Outfits
The March update offers fans their first glimpse at the new outfits, which appear stylish and fitting for the heroes’ spirit.
