Get Ready to Take on the Justice League as Suicide Squad in This Upcoming Action-Adventure Shooter

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, an anticipated action-adventure shooter by Rocksteady Studios, is set to release fans into the chaotic world of Metropolis with DC’s most notorious villains. With a decade-long wait coming to an end, here’s what you need to know before the game drops later this month.

Release Date and Pre-Orders

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is scheduled to launch on February 2, 2024. However, players who have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition will get early access starting January 30, 2024. Pre-orders are currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Delayed but Not Denied: A Long-Awaited Game

Originally planned for a May 2023 release, Suicide Squad faced several delays since its initial 2022 timeline. Despite the hurdles, Rocksteady is now in the final stretch, ensuring fans’ anticipation turns into reality within weeks.

A Team of Four Anti-Heroes

Unlike Rocksteady’s previous games, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will feature a roster of four playable characters: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark. More characters may be announced later.

A Spin-Off Sequel: Suicide Squad vs The Justice League

Set years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight, Suicide Squad follows an alternate storyline where Superman convinces Bruce to return as Batman despite his identity being revealed. Later, Metropolis is invaded by Brainiac, leading to an unlikely group of villains, the Suicide Squad, forming to save the world from the mind-controlled Justice League.

Post-Launch Support and Content

Rocksteady has promised continuous post-launch support, including future story expansions, new playable characters, in-game events, and more cosmetic items. They remain committed to enhancing the game experience regardless of reception.

Unavailability on Game Pass and PS Plus

As of now, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is not confirmed to be available on Xbox Game Pass or PS Plus at launch. However, it may be added later down the line.
